We appreciate these are uncertain times for schools. In the event of Labour Action, we will inform families of next steps as soon as possible. In the meantime, we will continue to plan for school as usual. If you have any concerns please contact principal Ms. Durnford.
Transportation Registration Confirmation & Cancellations
Families who have registered for the bus, that have decided not to use bus service can cancel their registration in MyCBE with no financial impact by Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. If families do not cancel by this deadline, fees will continue to be charged until a cancellation is received, regardless of actual usage. Retro-active fee refunds will not be provided.
Transportation fees will be loaded into MyCBE later in October.
2025-26 School Year Fees are:
- Mandated Riders $360
- Non-Mandated Riders $360
- Kindergarten (1-way) $180
No action is required for registered families that will use bus service for the school year.

Indigenous Hip-Hop Trailblazer Drezus Hosts National Music Centre Panel on Music and Reconciliation on Sept. 30
Studio Bell opens its doors for free on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with Indigenous artists sharing stories, songs, and perspectives
On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, National Music Centre will present a panel discussion at 1:00 pm led by acclaimed Indigenous hip-hop artist Drezus, exploring the power of music for reconciliation.
Panelists and performers include:
- Pioneering Indigenous rapper Rex Smallboy
- Award-winning artist Curt Young
- Award-winning Indigenous songwriter, performer, playwright, and filmmaker Wendy Walker
On this important day to listen, reflect, and learn, guests are encouraged to explore the newly updated Speak Up! exhibition. Curated by David McLeod and NMC’s National Indigenous Programming Advisory Committee, it highlights trailblazing Indigenous artists who are making a social and political impact through music. Studio Bell will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with free admission for all on September 30.

STEM Challenge
ILume, a youth-run, environmental club, is hosting a free water filtration workshop for children aged 8-12 on October 19, 2025 at the Seton Library from 1-3 p.m. Here, students will have the opportunity to learn about the science and social sciences behind poor water quality through interactive activities such as filter construction and discussions.
