Hello families,
School Conferences – September 26, 2024
- The first School Conference is Parent-led. This means that we want to hear from you. As parents/guardians, you have critical knowledge that can help us provide the best supports for your child during the school year. We have listed questions for you to consider prior to attending your child's conference as these will be asked at the conference.
- What is your child saying about school so far this year? What do they love about school?
- What are your child’s strengths? What are your child's challenges?
- What goals do you have for growth for your child for this year?
- How does your child deal with problems (at home, with their friends, etc.)? How can the staff at school best support them?
- Is there anything that you think we should know about your child’s home life that would impact school?
- Is there anything else that you can think of that we should know about in order to make this a successful year for your child?
- Are you interested in volunteering? Do you have a current police check?
- Are you getting our Friday school message, The Banting Bulletin?
- Grade 1-3 - 3:40-7:40pm
- Kindergarten – 8:20 am – 7:40 pm (No school for Kindergarten students)
- Appointments are 10 minutes in length
- Please book a school conference to help us learn more about your child and their learning
- If you have any difficulty, please contact your child's teacher or the office for assistance
Interpreters for School Conferences
- CBE has launched a new system for accessing interpreter services
- Any family wishing to have an interpreter can let their child's teacher know prior to the interview or any other time they would like to communicate through an interpreter
Terry Fox Run
We are excited to be part of this amazing yearly event. Our students have been learning about Terry as the inspiring individual he was, along with the contributions his legacy has made. If you would like to donate, please follow the link below. We will NOT be collecting cash this year for donations. All donations must be made online.
