Hello families,
Thank you to all the families and students who were able to attend both school events this week. Our Evergreen Theatre presentation was a stunning example of students learning how drama can communicate a message. Each class studied important curriculum events through acting. With only 3 days to prepare, our students and teachers performed with skill and knowledge.
We also hosted our Kindergarten and New Students Orientation. We were thrilled to include Kindergarten and Grade 1 staff, Ms. Roselea for registration and bussing, School Council Representatives as well as several community partners including local daycares, Nurse Stephen from AHS and Ogden Hub 29. We are excited to welcome all of our new students and families to our amazing Banting and Best School Community.
Bike Repair Day: Thursday, May 30th is FREE bike repair day!!!! Students AND family members are encouraged to bring their bike to school for repairs. There is an amazing team from Rotary Centennial who are volunteering to service bikes within our school community so your bike is ready to be ridden all summer long! Bikes will be kept in the gym for the day. Repairs range from brakes, flat tires, chains and more!!! Drop your bike off in the gym at the morning bell. At 1:00pm - 2:50pm, pick up your serviced bike!
