Volunteer Tea
A gigantic thank you to all of our amazing volunteers! We could not have the amazing school we do without you. From fieldtrips, to fundraising, reading buddies and event set up...you show up for us. We also want to give a special shout out to our School Council who goes above and beyond to support our initiatives and raise funds for the many fieldtrips, events and supplies (Phys.Ed. Equipment, sensory equipment, Audiovisual equipment)..just to name a few! We hope our volunteers enjoyed our thank you performances and feel the gratitude we have for each of you.
Crayon Day
The Calgary Board of Education strives to ensure that all schools are safe and caring places for students and staff. As a public school system, we welcome students from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and beliefs. At Banting and Best School, we have honoured and recognized our school community throughout the school year with events such as Orange Shirt Day, Rock Your Socks Day, Black History month, etc. June is Pride Month Internationally and Aug. 31-Sep 6 is Calgary Pride Week, a time to recognize the pursuit of equality and rights for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. The CBE is committed to safe and caring learning and work environments for 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff. School activities that promote diversity and inclusion are aligned with the Alberta Curriculum.
Sports Day
On Friday, June 5th, B&B will be hosting our annual Sports Day event! Come dressed in your BRIGHTEST NEON colours and get ready for a morning full of active fun, games, teamwork, and school spirit! We can’t wait for this exciting day together! 🌟
After our event, students will receive a FREE pizza lunch generously purchased by School Council (thank you School Council!!!) 🍕💛
