Hello families,

Banting and Best School wishes you all a Happy New Year! We hope all of our students and families were able to have an enjoyable and restful break. 

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year 

It is that time of year, where we start planning for the next school year. If you have a child entering Kindergarten or know anyone moving into the community for next year, please complete an online registration form starting January 12, 2026. Online registration can be found at CBE Registration . While registration is ongoing, having students register as early as possible helps us make the best possible plans for all of our students in the next school year. 

If your child currently attends Banting and Best School, they are already enrolled and DO NOT need to complete a new registration form.  

If your child is in grade 3, they will automatically be designated to Sherwood School for the next year, and nothing is required on your part. Sherwood School is the designated middle school for our catchment area. If your child will be attending a different school next year, please notify the office so we can complete the transfer documentation.  

Please call or drop by the office if you require assistance with registration or have questions.  

Alien Inline Skating Residency 

Thank you to our amazing School Council for providing this opportunity for all of our students. It was brought back due to popular demand. Our students absolutely love it!
