Hello families,
We hope you have enjoyed your long weekend, including valuable time with family.
Our dedicated staff spent last Thursday and Friday attending Professional Learning Sessions on a wide variety of topics. Convention is a fantastic time for staff to choose learning specific to their own learning outcomes and interests. We look forward to putting this new learning into action at school this week.
Elder Shirley Residency
We are excited to once again be hosting Elder Shirley to our school. Each time she visits, she inspires our students with her stories and teachings. Hoop dancing is also a highlight and we look forward to this year's lessons. All classes will attend one session on Tuesday and on Wednesday. Thank you to School Council for funding this authentic opportunity to promote Indigenous Ways of Knowing.
