Warm Wishes
What a year it has been! Our staff at Banting and Best School would like to wish our families and community partners all the best for the holiday season and into the new year. We are grateful for all we have achieved and look forward to continuing our success in 2025! We challenge our students to read everyday, get outside everyday and spend as much time with family as possible! We hope you have a wonderful winter break. Our first day back after the break is Monday, January 6, 2025! We look forward to seeing all of our students back then!
Winter Concert
What an amazing experience! Our concert went beautifully and our students were so proud! Songs, intruments, poems, jokes and more! Feedback from staff, students and families has been overwhelmingly positive! Thank you for your amazing support. Our audience turnout was beyond fantastic.
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year will begin on Monday Jan. 13, 2025. Children can be registered for kindergarten if they turn five years old on or before Dec. 31 of the school year they will be in kindergarten.
As we are a community school, this is not a first come, first serve process, however the earlier we have students registered, the more accurate our planning can be for next year. If you have a student joining us for kindergarten, please go online to www.cbe.ab.ca to register. If you have any questions about next year or the registration process, please contact us at the office.
For students already enrolled in our school now, no further steps are required. Your student will automatically be enrolled with us for next year. If your child is in grade 3, they will automatically be enrolled at Sherwood School which is their designated school, unless you inform us that they are attending elsewhere.
Dress up Days
Students are invited to dress up with the themes on the following list. These are all optional. Our students often enjoy having dress up days to show their creativity and enthusiasm. We hope students enjoy this little bit of fun before the break.
