There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. Hello families,

We wanted to let you know of a few fundraising opportunities for our school. Funds raised go directly to the School Council Fundraising Society to fund opportunities and items that support student learning.

Fundraising

Ongoing ways to help raise money for the school:

  • Bottle Depot account: next time you're dropping off your bottles at: Marklan Bottle Depot let them know you would like to put the money in the Banting and Best account!
  • Mabels Labels: At check out use Banting & Best School (Calgary) under the support of a fundraiser . A portion of your purchase will go towards supporting our school. www.mabelslabels.ca
  • Fun Lunch: Sign in to Healthy Hunger and register for our next Fun Lunch through Via Cibo on December 14. Reminder, orders must be placed 5 days prior to the lunch. www.healthyhunger.ca
  • Popcorn Fridays: For 2$ students can choose one of 6 flavors of Kernels popcorn for a Friday snack.

Ways to give to our school include:

Monetary (cash) Donation
  • I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
    • Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
    • Write a cheque payable to EducationMatters  (all one word) and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school or mail it to: EducationMatters, 1221 8 Street SW Calgary, AB T2R 0L4
  • I do not wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation
    • ​Write a cheque made payable to Calgary Board of Education  and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school.
